Remembering Sean Taylor

A young adult, a father, a fiance, and gone at the age of 24. Coming from a father of 2 this thing really hurts me as well. I just can not think or even imagine not being able to see my kids grow up. What a horrible story that a 24 year old man gets killed in his own home.

Sean spent most of his life playing the game he loved becoming one of the hardest hitters in the NFL. You do not just get a nickname like the "Meast" (half man half beast) for no reason. He started out his life in football in Pinecrest Florida playing for Gulliver Prep School, playing running back and defensive back. Sticking around home Sean decided to go to the University of Miami. He played as a true freshman and went on to become one of Miami's top safety's. He later was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2004 in the first round pick no.5. In his first year in the NFL Sean took the starting position at free safety.

What a shame..... Yes the death of a young man and how it happened is a shame but the bigger shame to me is the news reporters bringing up his past. Yes I guess you can get an acquired image because of your past but it does not need to be brought up in a situation like this. Every story you read yesterday was about how Sean's past was bad and how he got into trouble.

Quote from Clinton Portis, Sean Taylors friend and Team Mate
Quote:
"Ever since Sean had his little girl, it was like a new Sean," Portis said. "He was always smiling, always happy, always talking about his child. It was good to see Sean walk by smiling.
Hello Mr. News reporter that should loose your job how about how he changed since the birth of his child and started to change his life around? Yeah well that would have been something you could have included in your article. Maybe not being in the news for the past months or years and to be exact the last criminal activity I found on Taylor was back in 2005. Can you just leave the past alone?

Sean leaves a family, a child and his future wife along with a lot of fans in Washington, including one that has been a valued member at NLS LadyNredskinsfan Smile girl it will be ok.. I did not know the man but after seeing him play in Miami and in the Pros I enjoyed watching him play and thought he could have become one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. I will miss watching him play much like his family and friends are going to miss his presents. Rest In Peace Sean we will miss you.
